Kate MacKinnon Hathway

Originally from the Isle of Skye, Kate has been playing the great Highland bagpipes for 20 years. As a junior competitive piper, Kate won numerous prizes throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland as well as participating in a great number of music festivals (including the Edinburgh Military Tattoo). Thanks to recent support from South West Arts, Kate has been able to continue playing competitively and at music festivals throughout UK, Europe and the USA.
