Ian Alexander has been playing the pipes since he was 17. He joined the world famous and highly respected 2nd Batt Scots Guards, where he served for 7 years as a piper. Ian has played many times for the Royal family, at State Banquets, visits and the like - personally piping H.M Queen Elizabeth from the Royal train at Southampton to launch the Oriana Cruise Ship for example. Having played in some 22 countries as a solo piper and part of the Scots Guards/British Airways Pipe band Ian has played in 2 Trooping the Colours, and 84 shows of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Pipe Major Alexander
wears the Royal Stewart tartan and stands 7ft 6ins, when dressed in the Full Regalia.
